I didn;t understand at first but I guess your question was in relation to my comments. CDR's are a poor choice because they can't be easily mounted as in installable file system.

with zip or syquest.

1. Plug Into Machine.
2. Run the GUEST or Visit program to mount the drive.
3. Your Done.

Its the simplicity of attaching one of these to any computer in a small amount of time that I find most valuable. The only devices that meet these requirements are Zip, Jaz, Syjet, Sparq, EZ 135, etc.
