Gosh, cgraham, I though Schuh was the only member of the WH spin crew. Shall we elucidate for the uninformed? Laying claim to much of that (if not all) is like you laying claim to having made the stock market go up or down with your posts at SI. And you believe every word, right? Clinton's primary accomplishment (aside from sullying the office) has been to ride an economic wave of prosperity brought about by having wrested the control of the congress from the liberals. EARTH TO CGRAHAM.... The power has and always will lay in the hands of the people. That is why I laugh at such a sally when people proclaim "this president did this and that president did that". It's a feeble-minded exercise that those who have the yearning for "one" man or woman to "lead" them constantly indulge themselves in. Give CONGRESS their due. They make the laws and not the President. That is why the concept of a Congress "shutting down the government" is so ridiculously moronic that it doesn't even beg investigation.
