You lost me this time. Wasn't the image of the office your concern?

<<And removing Clinton from office will acheive what? Isn't the current administration already sullied by these events?>>

Didn't you say....
<<<<I was commenting on the political value of the office...it seems many on this thread underestimate the oval office and it's aura>>

Removing bc from office demonstrates that the integrity of the oath of office, truth, obstruction of justice, etc are standards that our form of constitutional government protects. Who ever takes office in the future "moderate republican" or "democrat" is another issue. But it would be nice to feel as the are taking their seat in the oval office, that they have respect for the role and its responsibilities to uphold an oath of office.

<<<That right, remove him from office, that'll show...now who are we trying to show the example to?>>>

Uhh...to those who think crime pays?

<< Hopefully the next President will be a moderate republican who can keep his mind on the job and off the interns >>

Fat chance of that happening. Do you realize how many interns lost their virginity to our prim and proper Republican Presidents?

Well, they are bombing Iraq right now. Too bad Clinton didn't have a chance to send a House Republican fact finding delegation there first! <g>
