Frontier Air (NASDAQ:FRNT) says no to Vanguard merger

DENVER, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Low-cost carrier Frontier
Airlines on Wednesday declined a suggestion from the majority
owner of Vanguard Airlines that the two companies merge or
create some type of combination.
W.R. Hambrecht & Co. LLC, a major stockholder in Vanguard,
recently bought an 8 percent interest in Denver-based Frontier,
and suggested the two carriers explore some type of business
combination.
