Hmm; must not be a very high priority with them, I guess. Thanks for the statement summary, J.L. I attended a local govt. update session last week on Y2K infrastructure (electric, gas, water, ...) assessment work and the coordinator told the attendees that, in his opinion based on the responses he's been getting from the utilities, it would be wise to have excellent contingency plans in place for these items. It was easy to tell by his tone that he was not at all convinced that the utilities were going to be ready in time. FWIW.
