If I had a solid system to predict gap direction even 75% of the time I'd be a rich man in short order. Seems to me the steeper the trend (short term moving average), high volume after some base building, and a close near the highs of the day are the best indicators. Most other situations are pure gambles. With EGGS in this situation, its probably 50-50.

Yeah, that was weird. A decent size block, too. IMO, EGGS will react with the overall market tomorrow. The $64,000 question is how will the street react when air strikes hit Iraq?? Personally, I lightened up today as the uncertainty is too great (I want to sleep)<g>.

My entry point into EGGS will be once it breaks through $21.75 on solid volume. That is the MAJOR resistance point. I almost thought we would do it today.

Also, watch for EGGS to make a strong move upward when they report holiday sales (if they come in strong, which I feel they will). The e-tail stocks are reacting favorably to this kind of news (i.e. AOL).

Best of luck and God bless the innocent people in Iraq.
