Conix OpenGL is as good an implementation of OpenGL as you can find on any platform. It is hardware accelerated, and very easy to develop with, for the Macintosh.

True, I'd like to see Apple bundle OpenGL on all machines, but there is some misconception that there is no OpenGL for the Mac, and there is.

ATI Rage Pro drivers now support OpenGL directly, and Conix implements hardware acceleration, so what more do you want? Is this a specific problem, or just a general misconception go awry?

PS Just got a new G3/300 PowerBook. Amazing.
