Joanna if what the guy wrote was true then Cline and some others started this other company for professional services with Bill as a shareholder. Keeps everyone happy. Maybe Bill thinks he can buy out the company if they get it working rather than try to start one of his own. It is not all that easy to co-ordinate and motivate large services organization thats not all talk, Like the CEO of CSC was saying. Now you know why most services actually replace the entire system rather than trouble shoot and replace bad parts? For some even that is too hard. The skill levels of a professional service Level person at CSCO is much much higher than one from DELL.

Joanna,
My understanding of why Cline left is this: He was getting a little bored with being second-in-command and wanted a bit more to do with the entire company. Someone told me he was looking for something like President and Billie would be CEO (I'm not sure about the title/position he was looking for) but Bill said NO. What happened next is only a guess but, I think Cline ran off, with Bill's blessing, and if this new service company go well, NAI buys it. Win/Win for both Bill and Dennis.

I will try to get a little more info on the woman from Oracle. The info I do have is she really screwed the sales people last quarter and most are not happy.

$$$

So who is this "woman from Oracle" who's running the show now? And is Dennis Cline gone
as in "transition role to get out of the company?" Or just another role?

Any word on why Mr. Cline is gone?? (i.e. was it amicable?) (THIS is getting INTERESTING!
