This isn't much different than the original in 90/91. CNN's Peter Arnette, John Holliman<died recently> and Bernie Shaw were in Baghdad at some hotel. Bombs were dropping everywhere and Iraqi security were running around the hallways and Peter was saying to Bernie "Cover the door I'm under the bed!!" Live on CNN! The really weird one was the Marine invasion of Somalia. The Press had advanced news and were waiting on the beachhead, at night, with spotlights lighting up the whole beach. Then the Marines landed in full nighttime camo and the press was there to do live interviews. Finally some brilliant young Lieutenant order lights out or he would blow them up. Fortunately no shots fired.
