Not a major problem for Amazon unless the entire market tanks big time, IMO. The mood of the country is much different than it was during the summer. People want to continue on in sweet ignorant bliss and as long as the economy is moving on FED equity greased skids, then people are happy to be detached from some distant reality.

The majority of people don't think personal affairs or lying about them is nearly as important as running the worlds' biggest Federal government, but they are not nearly as mobilized as the far right minority. People will just enjoy conversation about how for the first time in 130 years a President is being impeached (without resigning first). They don't really seem to care that this is the first time ever in history that a president is being impeached for matters that have only an obtuse connection with matters of office. These are strange times indeed. To the right wing thinking, the president should be elected from the pious minority and damnation awaits anyone who stands in their way!

The conservative right wing has galvanized support among even liberal thinking Republicans and some Democrats in a McCarthyesque witch hunt lynch mob atmosphere. Few in the party will dare criticize the majority house Republican opinion.

But Amazon is not here on Earth so it does not matter. In fact, investors are more prone to spend their dollars for stock in this Bizarro World company! On Bizarro World where Amazon.com is head quartered, Sadam has just completed a round of golf with Newt Gindrich and Bill Clinton and Hillory has run naked in the streets of Bizarro Iran!.
