The problem I have with that article is the obvious difference between the two stocks mentioned.

You cannot talk about WDC and DELL in the same context. WDC has been in a long slump due to over supply, the big boys were waiting for the 'okay' signal to buy in at the bottom. The fact that DELL did not run up like WDC may not be because MD said something negative at the conference. DELL was not in the same position as WDC. IMO, that article is meaningless.

Either way, that is the reality of wall street. (Big) money talks...and the rest of us walks! <g>
