The U.S. is beginning to bomb Iraq as I write this. For those of us who witnessed the first -ever live television coverage of a war seven years ago in Iraq, this is a chilling moment. My hopes and prayers go out to all U.S. military personnel involved in this action, their families, and all innocent Iraqi civilians. May they be protected.
