This possible counterpunch has been bothering me too, but as a former B-52 driver circa 1970, I think many more chauvinistic Americans would be that much more inclined to turn Sadaam's whole chickensh*t country into a bloody parking lot. Literally, a bloody parking lot. In answer to an earlier question, I remember G model B-52's cruising at Mach 77 at an altitude between 35 and 40000 feet. Mach 77 equals 0.77 times the speed of sound which varies with altitude. There were reported by NPR to be 15 of the Buffs on Diego Garcia this evening. Bill Peavey
