Off Topic, too.

What do you mean you don't know any southerners? You are from Southern California!!! ;-)

I agree with the anti-bible belt feeling. They are typically people who speak Christ to your face as their hand is in your wallet. Let's face it, Jesus said do on to others, not tell everyone about others. It is not what we say, but how we treat eachother that is much more important. Speaking about being right is just speaking, not doing. Wasn't it Charles Keating that lead the battle against Husler as immortal. Look what that bible bumper did to little old ladies savings!

Clinton was wrong, but the last person who was perfect birthday is coming. We all make mistakes. If he would just say so and move on, we could all be a lot happier.

Just my two cents, (-8 Dennis 8-)

Pat: Here's a funny one--most of the real nuts I've ever met were from California. Hahahahahahaha. How about that guy and his wife that have packed their bags and headed off to the hills because they think that catastrophe awaits us on January 1, 2000. Now that's typical California eccentricism.

By the way, that cynical move by Clinton today means that he is history. I'm now more convinced than ever that the guy has no scruples and will do anything to serve his own self-interest.

P.S. I'm certainly no religious nut, not even a right-winger. Like most Canadians, I'm a centre-left moderate who believes in free entreprise and has a lot more affinity for the Democrats than the Republicans. Anyway, enough of politics!
