ZP,

your quote was out of context. I was saying that these external drives are undispendisble for consultants. Why??? Instant access to filesystem by running 1 driver. 2. plug into parallel port and are universally portable.

Side Notes:

1. Just because your internals fail doesn't mean that externals are better only that did not adequately consider the cooling requirements when you installed them.

2. SCSI is NOT on every computer. Parallel is. Its not useful if I can't walk into a potential customers office and be running in less than 5 minutes.

3. Do the MO drives allow you to run one driver from dos and then immediately say xcopy c:\*.* d:\ /s
