Anyone know sources for MP3 decoders (HW or SW)?

www.mp3.com

Questions for the thread:

1. Has anyone hacked the Rio (which, by the way, isn't spelled "RIO" like an acronym)? I'm quite certain that the internal flash memory also holds the decoding software, or at least the micro-OS that manages the display. I'd like to find out what it takes to pull that code up to the desktop, soup it up, and download it back again.

2. Anyone know of a good source for the flash memory upgrades? I'm guessing that it's 3.3v SmartMedia, but I haven't been able to find anyone who actually stocks larger sizes than 8 megs.
