I'm curious about something. Saf-T-Lok has dangled the prospect of widespread adoption by police departments for years. One obstacle has been the understandable reluctance of police officers to have anything on their guns that might interfere with their use in a moment of crisis. Is this decision to use the locks in Boston one that's imposed on the department by politicians against bitter opposition by rank-and-file, or is there some support among the officers themselves.
