Read my other post. I appreciate your sentiments but don't agree with you - at least not for this stage of developments. They do not need to close a deal now. Now is not the right time to cinch deals that will commit the company's developments for as long as several decades. Wait until the gun is fully charged and ready to fire. Do they need stronger marketing? Maybe so. I was instrumental in negotiating a several million dollar technology development and licensing agreement and know that it is difficult to get the kind of lucrative agreements that investors want prior to fully proving the technology for specific applications. It can happen but 9+ times out of 10 it doesn't. I don't care how darn good the marketing person is - until you have a field proven product it is difficult to get a leveraged agreement. Investors are naive and premature to expect things to ripen so quickly - they threaten to push the company into stupid actions, IMO.

One agreement I was involved in was for a nominal fee to be paid for the product development and testing phase and for processing of patent applications. Once the technology proved itself to work through extensive evaluations of pre-production units, then a license was taken to move it into full production. We are talking about technology licensing and transfer, not selling PCs or bananas! Wake up!
