Raythe / War Effect

Any oil price increase due to the Iraq Strike will be minimum - in my opinion. With the exception of crude supplies from Iraq, I simply don't see any effect on the overall world supply situation. If this situation gets to the point where land troops get involved, the effect would increase in nature.

If I am in error in my judgement and there is an exceptional price increase, I think it would re-trace back to current near lows after the dust settles.

In regards to the smaller players in the Lost Hills play, I wouldn't think the Iraq situation would have any impact on share prices. If share prices do increase substantially over the next couple of days, I think one could expect a correction thereafter.

I think the markets will reflect that this is a temporary situation and the current oil glut situation will be the prevailing dominant factor.

Just one person's opinion
