maybe so. If it doesn't begin tomorrow I think it will
have to take another week, roughly, and that'll be a whole
nother week of action to ponder. But a rally which begins
next week could be very strong without making new highs
in the indices, so it would be a more complex, and I think
more likely event.

I like the way this looks though:
tscn.com
and some others like it, SO who knows.

<<I see in my crystal ball the S&P making new highs while the DOW lags miserably - if we get that far. >>

Dan Rather made a witty comment last night in one of his interviews with a military strategist: "He who lives by the crystal ball learns to eat glass." -gg-

The Trannies have fallen back through the 200 day MA, and failed to rally back. This makes a Dow Theory confirmation even less likely.
I was 'this close' to buying HM yesterday. Will probably look to buy a dip today. Gold loves uncertainty- and we certainly have that now. What's your favorite gold stock now?

PS- Instead of 'Operation Desert Fox', how about 'Operation Desert Crock'.
