Hi Paul,
Specifically, one of the objectives is to look at the macro and micro diamond counts from each 10 kilogram sub-sample and express the counts as total diamonds recovered/10 kg; total macro diamonds recovered per 10 kg; total micro diamonds recovered/10 kg; and macro micro ratios/sample. As each of the 70 odd drill holes penetrated through the sheet over an average thickness of 2.7 meters, there can't be much more than 10 kg per drill hole to analyse. These results will be compared with the results from the 500 kg sample from the pits where the two 100 tonne samples were collected. I believe this is done in order to evaluate and extrapolate grade continuity and to help determine where precisely the 5000 tonne bulk will be taken from. I am personally confident that the results to date will stand up, and the tonnage will increase dramatically, however, everyone from market players to institutions to bankers want hard empirical data before the really big money pours in. My experience and knowledge tells me that the risk of a big negative suprise here (unlike virtually all other and previous exploration plays with rare exceptions) is unusually very low. I assure you that I have "stepped up to the plate" accordingly.
regards,
teevee
