No I didn't ask the question direct because frankly I can't see that it matters. All I know is in my post 10567 to Denis. The relevant bit follows:-

Caustic fusion analyses of kimberlite intersections obtained from this current program, as well as 250 kg from each of the two pits sampled this spring, are in progress and results will be reported when they are received. Results will contribute to the geostatistical database on microdiamond distribution that is being established on the NW dyke for purposes of grade prediction.Based on widely spaced intersections to date, there is significant tonnage potential of kimberlite in the NW dyke system. Characteristics of the NW dyke as defined by the drill program on the peninsula offer optimism that more regularly spaced drilling on the down-dip portion under Snap Lake as planned for this winter season can reasonably be expected to add significantly to its defined tonnage.Winspear Resources Ltd.John A. In between conquering Iraq this evening I did some more rereading and came uo with a short para that covers the 500kg but is still pretty ambiguous. Here it is from the sept 30 Management report:-

'Microdiamond analyses of All kimberlite intersections encountered during the spring and summer drill programs are in progress. Results will be compared with those obtained from analyses of representative samples obtained from the two 100 ton bulk samples tested in the spring. This data willhelp establish a grade-predictive capability on down dip portions of the dyke using microdiamonds as a guide"

I GUESS THAT's FAIRLY SPECIFIC AS TO WHAT IT ALL ABOUT.

SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET YOU AN ANSWER

Paul, from the Oct14 PR it says (now just read the similar reply- sorry for re-posting)
"Caustic fusion analysis of kimberlite intersections obtained from this current program, as well as 250 kg from each of the two pits sampled this spring, are in progress and results will be reported when they are received."
I'm taking this to mean that 2 new 250kg samples were taken from the existing pits. hope this helps - denis
