Somehow it improved a bit, but not at the beginning. I note there are more "selective" fills at the beginning.
In crowded stocks, like BAMM yesterday it was darn slow throughout the day. Despite the turnover peaked 1 Mil each 5-minute slot, it was a matter of luck to get a marketable limit order through.

No idea how the rules are but my (tiny) marketable limit orders were filled fast (according to the timestamp) but the notification and portfolio entry were rather slow. When a stock is not marginable/borrowable then it is more difficult to issue a closing sale seconds after.

Esteban, the first trade was at 9:48 in ASND. I'm inching my way back toward 9:30 :). Also, I don't ever (well , almost never) trade any of the internet stocks. Without L2 and a direct execution broker, I think trading these through any web-based broker is unwise. I doubt Datek is the only one giving poor execution response on these ultra-volatile stocks.
