*** OT *** Terry, President Clinton got his five days... the five days his attorney has asked for and judge Hyde gave him two... if his bet is right, the impeachment debate and vote will be pushed into the new congress, 5 more democrats by then, and improving the chances of not getting impeached... well, the president showed them how hard "hard ball" can be played...

in a quote from former speaker of the house Mr. Gingrich that I read somewhere, the president told him the first time they met in the WhiteHouse..."I am big, fat and ugly, and if you push me, I keep coming back at you... " so hard ball it is... and resign, no chance... you see, that was his life long dream, and he will do anything to keep it going...

its funny that after the panel voted to proceed with the impeachment process, I told some co-workers jokingly, "wouldn't it be interesting if cruise missiles started dropping into Iraq now..."
there was nothing in the report that the president did not know few days earlier as stated by more than one senator...

Make no mistake, President Clinton is very intelligent and shrewd... he just insults the intelligence of everyone else's by his actions.

best regards
