MrK, point taken. I guess what I was trying to point out was that Bush had infinitely more firepower, manpower, tankpower, airpower, and international support than Clinton has now. I of course understand that taking Saddam out would not have been a "piece of cake" (which is one reason why it was not done) -- but wouldn't you say it would have been easier then than it would be now?

By the way, did you see the piece that Les just posted? The author would, I think, have answered "yes" to that question.
