When I was quoting the experts, I was agreeing with them. I don't see a major reason why this should affect the price of oil, except for speculation that Saddam will somehow attack other arab nations and target their oil production. even if oil production stopped for a week out of Iraq, there's no reason to think that when they started producing again, prices wouldn't just drop again. What reasons are there for oil to go up and stay up enough to affect drilling and oil-field services companies? why did these stocks go up yesterday? about a year ago, for those of you who were here then, people kept complaining about how our stocks followed the price of oil and how it made little sense. well, here we are and that's how it has unravelled.

British warplanes are in action of Iraq right now...

I enjoyed your response and would appreciate your views on how these events should affect the price of oil and our stocks... thank you.
