Placed a call into ALTS in an attempt to get an answer to the lawsuit status. I await a return call. My guess is that they (ALTS) requested/granted a continuance till after the first of the year -- or has an understanding with the plaintiffs of the same. Otherwise, we are all aware of the tax-loss selling that continues. Some have sold before December 4 or so, so they can use the tax-loss and rebuy back in without issue come January 4. We half about 8 trading sessions to go and the pressure should let up after that. I personally am still adding on dips for select clients. There is an ASK floor at 40. These spreads are killers, however! -JH
