BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 17, 1998--In response to
recent reports and brokerage firm inquiries, Internet Media
Corporation (OTC BB: USRF) (pronounced you surf) has issued a
statement that it has not, at anytime in its history, ever issued a
convertible debt instrument, or so-called "death bond."
"We have never even discussed the issuance of a 'death bond,' let
alone issued one," said David Loflin, Internet Media's President. "As
a company, we have always taken the position that this type of
convertible debt instrument is not in the best interest of the company
or its shareholders," Mr. Loflin concluded.
