I remember ON TV. SportsVision too. In fact, SportsVision is why Harry Caray went from the White Sox to the Cubs in 1982. Reinsdorf was going to put the Sox games on SportsVision, which was a subscription service that had something like 20,000 subscribers at the time and, since Harry didn't really care for either Eddie Einhorn or Jerry Reinsdorf, he decided that he would rather broadcast Cubs games on WGN, which was a free TV station in Chicago and just beginning to build its cable empire. Harry's replacements with the White Sox were Hawk Harrelson and Tom Paciorek.

My favorite Harry line: "How can a guy from Puerto Rico lose a ball in the sun?"
