I don't recommend trading it as the premiums are super high but it

is a useful indicator of market direction lately

John,

YHOO and AOL are ready to explode to rival the gains seen by AMZN the past couple of days. I believe when you look at the way things are building up, we will see the NASDAQ breakout strongly advancing to new highs, ultimately, carrying the DOW. Based on seasonal factors the breadth should expand with the Russell lifting small stocks to new highs. I follow roughly 100 small cap companies and its amazing how many insiders have stepped up and purchased shares recently, besides having chart patterns that have been basing for some time. We are definately in nose bleed territory here but when you look at how heavily weighted the indexes are with just a handful of companies, this market move would be completely justified with a broadening of the breadth numbers. Thats why I'm paying close attention to the RUT here. Just some thoughts.
