Really? The same argument could be made since the conclusion of the Gulf War. You just don't get it. We've got the Russian Dumas seeking co-operation from Monica Lewinsky to exert her influence to get this presidents "emotions" under control, for cryin' out loud. He's making us a complete laughing stock. Obviously if Gore were president right now, these questions wouldn't even be raised. Sheesh.

Yeah as ridiculous as the President telling us that it would be an unfair to bomb them on a holiday!

<<The head of the UN inspection team [not American] issues
a report to Clinton that Saddam is not Co operating and twenty four
hrs later we commence bombing. Oh how suspicious is that. What
is he suppose to do wait for the impeachment vote then start the
bombing?>>
Pezz,
That's just too naive by half. If His Liarship had responded to every report of Iraqi non-cooperation within 24 hours, Iraq would now be one large crater. Tell me you don't really believe that nonsense.

<<It's a sickening display of partisan politics all right by the Republicans. The idea that Clinton timed this is ridiculous.>>

Certainly doesn't seem ridiculous to me -- or to Scott Ritter.
