An interesting note from another part of the world... Yet the regional economist for investment bank Warburg Dillon Read, Mr Simon Ogus, says that "it is not really advisable to stand in front of the motoring liquidity train fuelled by Engineer Greenspan". afr.com.au The Aussies pay close attention to the Asian Tigers, as a good deal of trade goes on between Australia and SE Asia. On a less positive note, the same paper/issue notes that an auction of Thai debt proved less than hoped for. afr.com.au
