An fyi to anyone running SCO Open Server 5.0.4 enterprise server: I
have successfully run this o/s 5.0.4 after 1 1/2 month of making it
work. I am using the K6-2 300 Mhz on an Micro-star 5169 motherboard.
It took me a while to get this working, video dont work, ethernet nic
will not work properly, but finally its working. I have to upgrade
the bios on the motherboard to V2.5, seems like v2.3 don't work well
with SCO, worked okay with NT though. Not a commercial for any vendor
but I am now much happier after spending also enormous amount of time
with Pentium Pro 180MHz on an Intel VS440FX motherboard that seemed flaky after 1 1/2 year of use. I just wished these damn o/s would work 1st time (then I guess I would be out of work <g>). I just had to get this of my chest.

Another fyi, I originally purchase the K-2 300 with an AMD fan ($29),
and it was very noisy, so I returned it to Fry's elect. I got myself
a no-name brand and its much much quieter. By the way Im buying another K6 but I may try the 3D and see if it work wtih SCO unix too.
