MP, not sure, they may do a convertible, like IMCC which did a 95% dilutive one and got through, so far. Do you remember week ago or so I found a weird "buy recommendation" on FP. But there are hard times: Found a message on Telerate regarding increasing default rates due to the 1999 slowdown. But, we had another interesting BK today: CML group (last trade: 0#11) said it will file for ch. 11. C. Btw.: as ever, if they file they file at Feb 5 1999. As a nonresident, prizes to me are usually VOID, if won. Therefore, it should be spent to the Salvation Army.

Does this answer depend on which side of the international date line we're on? I know when it will happen but have a hard time figuring out what day of the week it is. And then, a couple days ago you said in a post somewhere that I "had no vision", so now I'm blind too and totally a goddamn mess. Will somebody be my secret Santa?

RE:Your poll of how many days until FP files Bankrupty. Dear Mr Pink... Why would a company who was planning on bankruptcy last night announce a new contract with a national Advertising agency for TV, Radio and Print campaigns...together with comments from the Senior VP of FirstPlus announcing the goals of this is to increase retail originations and to take FP to new levels? Seems to me, if this company wasn't going to have money to loan...and lot's of it..they wouldn't want to be INCREASING originations..would they? Could all this mean that your call is simply off ..Mr Pink? Sure sounds like the C2C deal is going to happen..doesn't it? Also..it's very interesting to note..but also FP just came out with a whole new web site last nite..and..very curiously..they are once again including links for Brokers...a line that they curtailed during the companies crisis..but now seem to be reactivating? I for one vote for a new poll here... How many days until FP shorts go bankrupt??
