CNBC just destroyed Amazon:

They did a blurb on the M.L. price target of 50, and then for an extra added punch at the end they put up a graphic containing only the following two items:

Amazon Market cap: 15 billion
Total US Book sales: 12 billion

Around 15 seconds after that appeared on the screen, Amazon dropped 5 points instantly.

Since the investors of this company are usually so unaware of what the heck they are investing in, it takes an occasional shot in the arm of sanity to break through the warm fuzzy touch and feel minds of these people.

Great job CNBC.
