How do you know one CCUR system is not up and running? You don't.
Blowing smoke as usual. Your record so far is ZERO for ---. Not
one thing you have ever posted has been verified but a ton of things
you have posted have been proved to be WRONG. I can say one thing
for you, you don't give up like Arthur Tang did.

Your facts stink, except that they used SGI servers. You don't seem to grasp that SFA builds these systems for a living. They have now installed over 50 digital head ends for multiple MSO's. Where did the Sarnoff people now at Diva garner the same level of systems design, installation and integrationover SFA? Diva reinvented the wheel and have been trying to get it to work properly for 2 years. Their own head end equipment, their own boxes and their own server.

I knew on of the head engineers from the Full Service Network (not one of the Prasara guys) and I believe I know a little more than you about what they did and what they learned.

Diva is raising the bar? Which bar is that? The one that says it took them 2 years to do what SFA can do in 2 months. Maybe you should stop posting and spend some time talking to SFA about head end equipment and their experience in testing these services in the field "ALREADY". If you also had even decent information (and you read a post that I put up on the subject last week) you would know that the SEAC server is not the only hold up in Austin, but it also has to do with Athena TV not being ready.

One more point. Before the Atlanta cable show, Diva was selling their system as the only server/set top that could provide VOD. That is now a statement they can no longer make, although they will continue to downplay the competition until it is in their face and yours.

Their is only one company raising the bar in VOD. CCUR, I hope you own some. Your closed eye and ear comments are as shortsighted as your insight into the digital cable roll out.
