A bomb is a more passive device set off with an impact trigger or a fuse. They have different functions. There are also explosives in artillery. Artillery strikes are not therefor bombing, however. Nor are mine explosions bombing, nor is strafing bombing, nor is a mortar attack bombing. Bombing is a special, specific, military term. Whereas you are a very special kind of idiot.
