Why I am not surprised? Even though I own Compaq stock instead of Dell's, I bought a Dell server (PowerEdge 2300) a few months ago instead of a Compaq. I tried and would like to buy from them because I hold their stocks. Why can't Compaq make their products as attractive as Dells'. Also their online store is not as good as Dell's either. No links on the web between their product information (showroom) pages and online store pages when I was using it. I did buy a 15' LCD monitor from Compaq online. But when I referred it to my friend, it's not available any more but only the 14' ones. It seems like they don' have as competent people running the show as their competitors in the many areas.
