Allen, apparently Wired has once again done the computer industry one better and done away with the Y2K bug, to be replaced with a Y1.998K bug. Over a year ahead of the rest of the world, these folks are really trendsetters!

I thought, however, that it was a Good Thing that Iomega has spent a bundle into development of Clik!, Wired doesn't try to say that the company was chintzy.

Allen,

I checked out CompUSA yesterday to see if they had Clik!s or the Zip250 but didn't see either. However they were selling the iMacs for $999 - just for this weekend. They did have a new bunch of translucent blue USB Zips. I didn't know you could plug the Zip into the keyboard - cool! And no power brick!

Kinda cute - they had the Zip connected to the demo iMac with a sign saying "iMac, you Jane". I guess the Zip was Jane. Anyway, it was set just in front of the USB LS-120 so that the LS-120 was hidden and disconnected.

You know, a USB Clik! will be a market killer.
