""Has anyone heard anything further ..."

No. You started this rumor as near as I can tell. I and others have asked you where you first saw this supposition. Please answer and then we can get serious. I have tried various searches and found nothing to substantiate this story.

The only encouraging thing about today's OSX action is that it did not give up all of yesterday's gains even though crude did just that and then some.

One problem with recent bounces in the OSX is that they all occurred from very depressed levels on some kind of news. Such rallies will always fail. Any real move in the OSX will begin with no news and for no apparent reason. If a piece of news that will genuinely help the OSX is about to come about, rest assured that the insiders will know it in advance and will bid up the shares before the news is public. If the shares have not gone up BEFORE the news comes out, the odds are 99% that the move will fail.

Platter,

You gotta keep up with your messages, particularly when you do the equivalent of running into the movie house, yelling fire, and running out (posting things like FGI screaming up on buyout rumors). After doing that you gotta come back to see if someone asked "where"!? Makes it look like you are pumping and dumping... Anyway, someone wanted a nice chunk of FGI at the close 12400 shares bought at $13 then several 3k and 4k shres went off at $13 after the bell.

I noticed that one analyst changed his mind from last week though:

quote.yahoo.com

I do own the stock, so I'm glad to see someone buy a heck of a lot more shares than I own at a higher price too.

Respectfully,
Dan
