PC Data Statistics Reveal 107% Increase in Expert Software Sales From November to December 1998
CORAL GABLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 1999-- Expert Software Inc. (Nasdaq:XPRT - news), a leading brand of high-quality, value-priced consumer software, experienced a 107% increase in software sales from November to December 1998, according to statistics from PC Data. As a result, 19 Expert titles earned number one marketshare in their respective categories, with a 60% average unit share among 689 competitors.

Also making the number one marketshare list were titles the new Bicycle(r) Multiplayer Card Games product line -- Poker, Blackjack and Bridge.
Other titles earning number one marketshare in their respective categories for December included Astrologer, Trucks & Stuff, Birthday Newsletters, CAD 3-D, Crosswords & More, Forms, Interactive Sailing, Labels, Lottery, Animated E-Mail, Resume Writer, Tarot and Windows(r) 95 Personal Tutor.
