Hey, I'm FINE. Most of what happened to me is over. It's just left me a little shocked, nervous, and whiney. And even that is getting better all the time.

My nerves were damaged. I'm always on edge, like combat adrenalin. But I'm okay. Not in much pain, not blind or deaf.

When the brain heals, is healthy, a LOT is good.

I'm fine. I was just surprised, by a decade of illness.

I'll be kickin butt by Spring. Probably. All I need is to be let up for a while. My pains might be over.

Don't deny how you feel, it's real, just relax.

A lot of us go through these things. It's very personal, we feel weak, and it's hard. That's why it's handy to share, too, because the main thing it does is shock us. It really catches us off guard, takes our balance. Some of these thngs are nasty, goddam nasty things. They're not the sort of thing one can just "deal with". That's a lie. Or I wasn't the person. It's going to punch at us, and land some, and make us reel. Holy cow, it's scary.

But that's normal.

I don't know what we and medicine can do to counter that, I'm waiting for us to learn, but the first thing is not to stress over weaknesses or thoughts.
