BAMM -- 17.8 mill share outstanding at 15 = Market cap of $267 million. (float of 11.7)
I expect that the company will have revenues of $290 million this year - since in the 3rd Q -- revenues for the year at that point were 231.4 million. Est gross profit to come in at $71 million for the year.
BAMM has market cap to revenue ratio of .9

Amazon has 52.8 million shares outstanding X $276/sh = $14.57 billion market cap. Revenues this year are projected to be about $500 million - just 200 million more than BAMM. Market cap to revenue ratio of 29.14.

I like BAMM's numbers better (even if it does have some "bricks and mortar").....
Hey - if it goes down a bit from here - I'll be happy - since I'll pick up a lot more at a good price....& if it goes up...that's ok too...

All I know is - I'm shopping at BAMM vs. Amazon :-) I like the prices :-)

"i bought a book from them and plan to buy more." i did place an order for one more. i cancelled it second later but it was shipped and billed anyhow. i'll now use buybooks.com which is cheaper. it was referred to me by business week (past issue or the one before that. buy is not public but plans to do so next year. they use computerized systems to check for the lowest price on the internet so they will always come out the cheapest). i'll now try to order two books from them.
