To the thread:

What do you think this going to do to the
converts? Do you think that WCII has a realistic
chance of staying above $40.75 for enough time
to force a conversion, or will Stephanie Comfort
succeed in ruining our party once again?

Thanks for your thoughts on this topic.

Earlier today I was asked if I had read the announcement from TGNT regarding the planned European development. I did respond, but have been thinking about this all day.

TGNT has had a better press relationship than WCII, so far. We all know about the reporting mentioning TGNT as the leader of the CLEC group, the only one with PMP, and the fastest most complete build out to date. For the announcement to come about their planned European development one day before this meeting makes me wonder about their information source.

Regarding todays close:
Someone will have to put a dollar on what this deal means with all the unknown considerations. EBIDTA timetable, European build out, the new fiber deal, possible considerations as a big dollar buyout ( reference Bill R.'s statement, we are now essentially an MCI ).
Tomorrows opening will be late, brisk, and hopefully an AMAZON.COM.

I might hold forever or sell close to the open and treat this like an IPO (buy back after a drop from AMAZON type highs.
