Michael, someone asked why this is so low & I read an article explaining that its due to the low price of cable modem service.

Problem is, they are subsidizing their own service, but selling ADSL ability to ISP's at about 5x that rate.

ISP's are petitioning government (in today's Globe and Mail newspaper). Unfortunately, the downside of Canada is that these damn monopolies get away with it so often. Bill Gates would have loved to relocate here - if it weren't for the damn taxes.
