In CA and other parts of the country, there is a deep growing hatred of the religious right. Personally, I don't understand it. But I know it exists. I suppose if I lived in the south or in CA, I might have more than a so-what attitude toward the RR. But we here in the northeast aren't bombarded at all with their propaganda and view them as just another voice. Live and let live. Vote and let vote.

Well, Michelle, I live in Texas where a Republican governor was re-elected for the first time ever, and to add insult to injury, the Republicans sweeped all major State offices. This was an unprecedented move.

Yes, look out for many more Mexican-Americans making it to the House on the Democratic ticket. And they are going to be MAD AS HELL at the Republicans.

After all, it will take a generation to forget what the GOP did to them by sponsoring the racist Prop. 187 during the 1994 elections... Bob Dornan, the raving right-wing lunatic, isn't going to like it one bit! Which suits me just fine, thank you! :-)
