In other words, he has improved his chances of making it to the nomination and shattered his chances of becoming President! :-)

I thought when I saw him interviewed on Larry King in the '96 elections he said that he was against abortion personally and would work against the need for women to ever have abortions but that he felt that the decision was between a woman and his doctor. I understand that he is for the ban on partial-birth abortions. The PBA bill occurred in Clinton's second term. I did not know him to extend this to all abortions.

If he's broadened or narrowed his position on abortions, depending on one's point of view, he would have had to state it elsewhere.
