Deepresearch,

>I didn't quite see GMGC buying Qwest :-) You are probably right in terms of the extra shares. Anything but more of the same convertible preferreds please.<

No offense, but I don't see how the "special meeting" is gonna help anyone long here. If GMGC has trouble moving up with 30 million shares out and all of a sudden there are 100 million shares out, then what? I may be wrong but it seems to me that it will be 3 times as hard to move the stock price up and the dilution will cause the stock to move down by 2/3. I hope I'm wrong. In my opinion, the "Meeting" is just a necessary formality. You can't out-vote the company so they're gonna do what they want anyhow. I've been through this before and it wasn't pleasant. I'm more careful now. I don't see how it can mean anything BUT more convertible debentures. Doesn't anyone go to a bank anymore? Jeez, I'd like to invest here because I like the company, but I'm afraid to. I suspect there are many others out there watching this and thinking the same thing. Good Luck.

deepresearch...I agree with Seconds Out and would not be surprised to see QWEST take a 5 to 10% position in GMGC in January....Just my opinion.
