It's this list of yours that I am referring to:

>>From what I have been seeing in samples/demos/shows/specs/articles it appears Ultralife has now moved ahead in the original ranking. Now it looks more like

Ultralife
Moltech
Battery Engineering
Sanyo
Valence
Sony
Lithium Technology<<

from your post on the ULBI thread: exchange2000.com

Where do the following guys fit on the above list? Are you keeping more secrets from us?

Thomas & Betts' battery business includes Telecommunications Devices Inc. (TDI), a manufacturer of battery packs for cellular telephones, laptop computers and other mobile electronics devices; and High Energy Technologies Inc. (HET), an affiliate of TDI. Thomas & Betts completed its acquisition of TDI in July 1998. The implementation of lithium-polymer battery technology will establish Thomas & Betts and HET as a leading battery cell manufacturer, in a market currently dominated by Asian producers.

You haven't convinced me of anything, pal. Certainly not the imminent success of anyone else in the li-poly industry.

Granted, FMK has been overly optimistic in his estimation of when Valence will be able proceed. He's stated that several times. But to pontificate about either Valence's failure or any one else's success is very, very premature.
