I've been much more obnoxious to dipy, charles hughes and Dan S. But only after I felt first blood had been drawn (name calling, put downs, or deleberately twisting meanings). Dan S, like you, chose to question how this could be. He and I are on real good terms right now, even though I still challenge some of his positions as strongly as I am able and vice versa. I should probably just move on or away from those encounters. People get caught up in things and make mistakes. Some correct them and make amends. I rarely have any opportunity to speak against it though. Sometimes it's because there is no other way. For instance, if it is for national security.>> When did I say that I don't recognize that many if not all politicians lie during their career. I have said that I hope it is not true that "all" lie. I have also said I am willing to support a clean sweep of the whole lot of them if the citizenry is willing to concede that we can't trust them as a group any more. In fact I carried on a conversation with jbe for two days while I ranted "revolution please." She finally dropped me from her mail list (sadly) for a while.
